My Colourpop Lipstick Review..

I.LOVE.LIPSTICKS. That says it all. I can’t live without it. I can survive not putting any cosmetics on my face EXCEPT lipstick! At night I even apply lip balm to moisturize my lips. Hence this purchase!

My friend told me about this brand which sells a bunch of lippies, especially matte lipsticks. So we googled the website for Colourpop and then you know what happens next just by looking at the photo for this specific post. We’ve added 6 lippies to the cart and checked out! Days after a box of colourpop lippies are delivered to our doorstep.

Here’s a quick review about Colourpop’s Ultra Matte and Ultra Satin Lipsticks!

colourpop

Who is it for:

  1. If you love lipsticks like me
  2. If you love everything about MAKEUP
  3. If you’re looking for matte lippies

What it claims (content from its product details):

For ULTRA MATTE LIPSTICK: “The boldest formula of our liquid lipsticks – in one smooth swipe, you’ll get the intense color payoff that dries down to a super matte, transfer-proof finish.”

For ULTRA SATIN LIPSTICK: “High pigmentation and a satin-matte finish in liquid lipstick form to keep your lips soft and comfy all day long.”

How to use:

You use it just like any regular lipstick! You twist and voila, there’s your lippie brush. Now go and enjoy it.

My verdict:

  1. The look – Its packaging is similar to a lip gloss stick.
  2. For the matte lippies, as it dries, it feels very dry. Good thing that it doesn’t stain my mugs/glasses as I drink. It doesn’t leave a kiss mark!
  3. For the satin lippies, LOVE how it make my lips gorgeous than ever. I love it!
Will I recommend it? – YES! Absolutely! I want to buy moooore!

My Laneige Lip Mask Review..

Hello loves! For this blog post, I’m going to share about my lip care. In my previous posts I’ve blogged about some lip balms that I’ve tried to deal with my dry lips dilemma. Somehow I find it hard to get rid of it ASAP so I googled and browse products that I can test to quickly resolve my lip problem. Then I found this cute lip balm which is one of the famous beauty products of the brand Laneige. So, here it goes.

  1. If you have dry lips
  2. If you want to moisturize your lips as you sleep
  3. If you’re simply a fan of Laneige beauty products

What it claims:

  2. Hydrate dry lips

How to use:

  1. Apply ample amount and spread on both upper and lower lip
  2. For day time use, you can use it on top of your lipstick for that glossy finish
  3. For night time use, you can just apply it and leave it overnight

My verdict:

  1. I love the packaging of this product. It’s so pink! It’s so girly!
  2. I love that it comes with the lip stick (which you can use to apply lip balm onto your lips instead using your finger)
  3. My lips are moisturized. They’re not that dry anymore.

My Sephora Lip Scrub Review..

This post is about Sephora’s Honey Lip Scrub that was given to me by a sweet friend. I haven’t really notice the effect of this lippie so I can’t really tell if it’s a good product especially for those who are having the same dilemma that I have – dry lips. Anyway, read on my short review about it.

Who is it for:

  1. If you have dry lips
  2. If you want to exfoliate and softens your lips

What it claims:

  1. It nourishes, heals, and sooth troubled lips
  2. It exfoliates and soften dry lips

How to use:

  1. Apply to your lips
  2. Use 1-2 times a week

My verdict:

  1. The effect – Its has sugar like crystals that helps in exfoliating lips. The scent is somewhat similar to a perfume. I can’t comment much about the effect because I’ve used it for 4 times and I don’t see much difference on my lips.
  2. Will I recommend it? – Yes. Why not? It’s an affordable lip scrub from Sephora. Just make sure you don’t overuse it. It’s not recommended to ALWAYS exfoliate. Isn’t it?

My Vanilla Lip Balm Review..

Do you love using organic products? Well, if yes, this one’s a must buy.

I have dry lips which made me search and buy for lip balms and creams that can help me bring back my soft lips that enables me to wear any kind of lipstick that I want. I previously used a hydrating lip balm of The Body Shop but unfortunately it’s out of stock. So I went to BHG (a department store here in Singapore) to check if there’s a good alternative that I can try.

As I start looking at the organic products I found this. A vanilla lip balm made with shea butter that promise to nourish and moisten any lip type. So I purchased one. How is it? Read and find out.

Who is it for:

  1. If you have dry lips
  2. If you love organic lip balm

What it claims:

  1. It nourishes, heals, and sooth troubled lips

How to use:

  1. Apply to your lips
  2. Use as often as necessary

My verdict:

  1. The effect – It’s a white non-glossy stick. Once applied it does not give you the glossy look and feel just like a regular lip balm or lip gloss. There’s no vanilla scent.
  2. Will I recommend it? – If you love using organic products then this is a must try. I prefer lip balms that hydrates my lips at the same time giving it a glossy look.
